A 35-year-old man who looks like a teenager has revealed his secrets to eternal youth, including the key foods he’s completely cut out for.

Brandon Miles May is often thought of as a schoolboy, but he is actually much older than he looks.

She describes herself as «enthusiastic about aging», and in a recent TikTok video, she shared seven important things she does to maintain her youth.

Living Without the Sun

Brandon says he has spent his entire life avoiding sunlight.

He said: «The sun contributes to up to 90% of the visible signs of aging».

No alcohol

Brandon revealed that he has never had a single drop of alcohol in his life.

«I decided at the age of 13 that I would never drink alcohol,» he said.

He said he doesn’t judge a drinker, but decided not to drink it himself because of the damage it causes to the skin, hair and brain.

No Smoking

Brandon said he doesn’t smoke because smoking destroys the anti-oxidants that protect your skin from «external damage» such as UV and environmental pollutants.

Sleep

The anti-aging whiz said he gets eight or nine hours of sleep every night.

«I think it is very important, because sleep is when the regeneration process takes place», he said.

The TikToker added that sleep also «raises your melatonin» which you «need so much for anti-aging».

I’m 47 and I’m constantly being asked about my youthful skin – the $10 anti aging product is a little hot but I love it, I use it twice a week.

No Sugar

Brandon revealed that he has completely eliminated sugar from his diet.

«Sugar ages the skin a lot», he said.

Adequate Exercise

Brandon said he doesn’t do «heavy training» but works out moderately, to make sure he builds and maintains muscle.

She explained that this is important for balancing your hormones.

Tips for aging well

There are a number of habits you can do to take care of your health and well-being as you age.

Age UK shared the following tips:

  • Do things you enjoy every day – whether it’s cooking, seeing friends or enjoying a good book
  • Stay hydrated – drink six to eight glasses of water a day
  • Eat more fruits and vegetables to reduce the risk of heart disease and certain types of cancer, have beans, pulses, fish, eggs and meat to repair your body after an injury, carbs starchy for fortified milk to help keep bones strong.
  • Manage long-term health conditions to prevent them from developing or having a major impact on your life
  • Quit smoking and limit alcohol consumption to no more than 14 units per week
  • Make mental health a priority and get treatment for it, as it can affect physical health
  • Make sure you get quality sleep
  • Keep socializing – and call a friend or loved one if you can’t leave the house
  • Be physically active to reduce the risk of depression and dementia, heart disease, stroke, Parkinson’s and other types of cancer.

Meditation

The last thing Brandon does to maintain his youth is to practice meditation.

He said this helps to control stress and anxiety, which helps in premature aging;

Brandon’s video, posted under the username @brandonskincare, may have left many people speechless, as it has racked up more than 752,000 views on the video-sharing platform.

TikTokers rushed to the comment section of the video to share their thoughts on his tips.

Someone said: «I’d rather look my age and be happy».

The second person said: «I swear the lack of sleep woke me up the most».

A third person added: «I’m about 29 and look 17 and I’ve never had a drink or smoked a cigarette.»
